Britney stared in a movie called “Crossroads” in 2002. It was my favorite movie when I was a kid. I’ve watched it about 50 times at least.

Britney is the first artist to hit 2 million followers on google+! It was only four months ago that Britney surpassed Google CEO Larry Page to become the most followed person on Google+ with nearly 800,000 followers. She has sinced gained more than 1,200,000 Google+ fans, in a matter of 16 weeks.

This was the first poster I ever had in my room. Not long after acquiring it my walls were COVERED in Britney and N*Sync posters from various magazines (J-14, Teen Bop, Tiger Beat). I remember I bought it at Strawberries when that was still a store haha! Now that was about 15 years ago so I have since then lost this poster. It’s still one of my favorite pictures of Britney, though.

I’ve seen videos from this tour online and I really wish I had the opportunity to go see this concert. Circus is on of my favorite Albums of all time. I can really listen to EVERY song on the album. (and there are only a few albums I can say that about)

ANOTHER ICONIC PERFORMANCE:
Madonna’s performance of “Hollywood” at the 2003 MTV Video Music Awards recreated the 1984 performance of “Like a Virgin”.
The performance started with Britney Spears emerging from a giant cake singing the first few lines. She was later joined by Christina Aguilera and both of them writhed on the stage while singing. Madonna appeared on the cake dressed as a groom and sang “Hollywood”, and ultimately kissed both Spears and Aguilera on the mouth. The performance was met with strong reaction from media.

Eddie and I have all the same classes together this semester so we see each other almost every day. Last week we were both having an equally tough day dealing with our classes and decided to go for lunch. As soon as I turned on the car and my iPod shuffled to “I Wanna Go” by Britney Spears, we both laughed and were instantly in great moods. We forgot that we were frustrated with one of our classes and were able to just enjoy the rest of the day. That kind of behavior just proves to me that Britney Spears is a great artist. If her songs from a few years ago can still put people in a great mood, she’s doing something right! Look at how many songs are played on the radio and they’re here today, gone tomorrow. Not with Britney. She is here to stay.

Spears first performed “I’m a Slave 4 U” publicly at the 2001 MTV Video Music Awards at the Metropolitan Opera House in New York City on September 6, 2001. Along with dancing in a very revealing outfit, the performance is probably most remembered for featuring a number of exotic animals, including a white tiger and a live albino Burmese Python on her shoulders, the latter of which has become one of Spears’ most iconic images.

“Everytime” is a song by Britney Spears from her fourth album, In the Zone. It was released on May 17, 2004, by Jive Records as the third single from the album.
Spears composed the music on her piano, and she developed the lyrics with Annet Artani. She performed this song while suspended on a giant umbrella at The Circus Starring Britney Spears in 2009.
During an interview with Jennifer Vineyard of MTV, Spears said, “It’s about heartbreak, it’s about your first love, your first true love. That’s something all people can relate to, because you all have that first love that you think you’re going to be with the rest of your life.”
I have to say, this is one of my favorite ballads by Britney. the simplicity of it is just so refreshing. The lyrics and melody flow together so seamlessly and beautifully. There’s no voice effects or crazy technology-made instruments. Basically, just Britney and the piano. perfect.

so this year for halloween, i have decided to be Britney Spears. I was so excited with this idea that i hurry up and bought a red vinyl cat-suit and red shoes online. This is one of the most iconic outfits that she has worn. so, obviously it is a great choice for a halloween costume!!

Since 1999, Britney Spears has put out 8 amazing albums and a greatest hits CD. I love that all of her music stays current with the time, and each album holds different memories for me. It’s almost as if I’ve grown up alongside her which also makes her music very sentimental for me. Britney is the ONLY pop artist I truly like and have continued to listen to, even though the rest of the music I listen to now is vastly different from when I was 7 years old… which obviously means she’s awesome!
